Unexamined?

I think it was Socrates who said that "unexamined life is not worth living."  He's right. For those who love to be reflective at the end of the year here’s some questions that may be helpful.
Do you like the person you’re becoming?
What or who do you keep stumbling over?
Are the people who need you the most only getting the emotional scraps?
How is your soul?
Where do you need to be encouraged most right now?
What, if anything, is holding you back from living more fully for God?
What is bringing you joy?
In what ways are your deep passions meeting the deep needs in our world?
What’s the root of any sadness in your life?
Is there unresolved sin in your life?
Where is your source of accountability?
What’s your next step?
Who are you trusting with your secrets?
What needs to change?

Thanks Mike as always for your perspectives! I have been in such a funk these last 7 months or so. The enemies have been working overtime and as the great speaker "Popeye" said "I can't stands what I can't stands and I can't stand it no more." These questions and the answers that follow them may truly help me!

I pray they will be helpful. Do you have some folks walking closely with you through the 'funk'? I'm only asking because my tendency is to withdraw. The Lord be with you. 'Funktimes' are not fun times.

Thanks for bringing up such great questions, Mike. I really appreciate it. Sometimes we forget to stop and really examine our hearts and it's good to remember to do that. Thanks for the encouragement
